  I grew up in this Church, I went to school at ATCS, I was in and out of Rev Couch’s home for years , I was in multiple events with Stephen Couch and others for roughly 6 years on a weekly basis. Never once did I experience anything harmful from Rev. Michael Couch or Stephen Couch. I left there at a young age and have led a very stable and successful life of which I’m very thankful for. I give credit to this Church and School for the things I was taught including hard work, good ethics, morals, Christian character - its made me who I am today. I don’t see everyone as much as I’d like to but I want this church family to know that you are loved and appreciated! Keep on living and loving God and let the haters do what they do best - hate!
  
  For the young men who claim to be abused. If this truly happened, I sincerely feel sorry for you and pray that you can move on and find the peace you’re looking for. That being said, Stephen is an adult and his actions (if guilty) shouldn’t be blamed on Rev Couch or the Church.
  
  Rev Couch has never coddled his children or tried to hide their faults. People hate him because he is everything they’re not - intelligent, successful, knowledgeable, student of the word, balanced, not a compromiser, etc. He truly lives everything he preaches. Not everyone is fooled by the hate being spewed by some at every afforded opportunity.

  I’m glad the LORD sent me to Apostolic Tabernacle 6 years ago! It’s an amazing place to worship the LORD Jesus Christ!!!!!

  Just, no. This “church” gave me PTSD. It’s is a man with a cult following. I hope it doesn’t end in KoolAid drinking. “Bishop Couch” my a$$. When you have a secret family, what does that make you? When is it ok to be in a deranged abusive marriage? When is it ok to not go to a dr for your own health, even more so, the health of your children?
  A dangerous place to attend.

  The hypocrisy this place is drenched in is simply astounding. False doctrine is adamantly taught, specifically that God is too small to do his own work and must rely on a man-god (pastor) to do the work. You can't be here two minutes without hearing "Manna-God" at least 3-4 times. There are more perverts per capita in and from this church than Sodom ever thought of producing. The pastor's own son is currently incarcerated for the molestation of young people he committed while music director and principal. Yet the sheeple will still writing glowing reviews of how wonderful everything is in Denmark.

  It’s a church that is great because of the leadership. GOD leading our Pastor as we follow according to the will and word of the LORD. I believe that persecution is not the end, but the trying of the flock to see who will endure hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. I feel sorry for all that hate Apostolic Tabernacle and Bishop Couch. I hope and pray that you understand that your wrongness and bitterness is only going to make you weaker and make the church stronger. You’re not hurting anybody but your own self.

  Literally the most powerful church I’ve ever visited with anointed pre service prayer and powerful Holy Ghost filled preaching! What an awesome place to worship and hear unadulterated truth ! I can’t wait to go back !

  Much has changed in the 25 plus years I attended A.T - not for the Good either - the Man became lifted up, idolized and Even worshipped, not so much by open confession but by service and words spoken that psychologically affected the heart and mind; many of the programmed followers would detest this but it’s so anyhow; it’s also hard to explain it all in a few short sentences but a few examples make evident; if you were one of the ones to jump up in testimony service and boast of what a great man of God or greatest church in all the land or greatest pastor in the world or as having a pastor like no other pastor, then you were consistently called on to testify or speak to chalk the flesh fire

  Went there as a child. Grew up thinking that men should be catered to, resulting in two abusive marriages because men are the leader of the household and should be treated as such. Women are to obey in silence and bow down to the man. Going to counseling thanks to this church. Very much a cult. Very dangerous way of thinking.

  Michael Couch is an amazing preacher, Incredible administrator, and strong motivator. He is also an absent husband, violent father, and Narcissistic Preacher who thinks that his is the highest human authority. He is a man driven by personal insecurities and fears that He expertly transmits to his congregation. The members of Apostolic Tabernacle are mostly sincere, scared people that want to go to heaven. There is a dangerous group think that can collectively go beyond the tenants that are preached in the pulpit, but mirroring the heart of leadership. Hypocrisy abounds depending on your status and family name. The inner circle stays protected while those on the edge are made examples of... Enjoy...
